A guide to cleaning your bong

Dec 24, 2011 by

This is something everyone should do as often as possible, glass percolator bongs can get dirty very quickly and its quite gross using a dirty bong, however they are very easy to clean and you don’t need expensive specialist cleaners either.

What you need:

Table salt
Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol
A couple of baggies
Chopstick/small brush

Take apart the small pieces rinse them with hot water (not boiling) and place each in a baggie, then add the alcohol and salts, give the bag a good shake and set aside.

Rinse out your bong with hot water (not boiling) to loosen up the resin inside, then you can pour in the salt and alcohol. Give your bong a good shake, covering the holes before rinsing with hot water. You may need to do this a couple of times, for stubborn bits in hard to reach places use a chopstick or small brush to get it off.

Back to the pieces in the baggies, give them a good shake again then rinse off, again following process again for stubborn bits.
